Fans are motivated and inspired by the rhythms of Ambar’s new album, Libre.
Ambar’s tropical beats and words of encouragement in her latest release, Libre, will inspire fans both on and off the dance floor. Its 12 tracks are a fusion of salsa, merengue, cumbia and some rhythms unique to her native Puerto Rico. “This music makes you feel your Latin blood; when you hear it, you’re compelled to get up and dance,” says Ambar. Nominated two years in a row for Female Tropical Artist of the Year by Premio Lo Nuestro, her hits have included “Tengo Ganas,” which reached the top of the Billboard charts.

Ambar2Taking her success in stride, Ambar wants her music and her life to serve a deeper mission. “This album contains a message about how we can inspire ourselves and inspire other women.” To this end, Ambar, who has been divorced for 10 years and has a 19-year-old son, has started an organization to help women called Fundación Ambar. She has also created segments on her online channel,, called “Mujer: No Pares De Bailar” where women can find motivation, as well as personal and professional advice. Ambar’s ultimate goal is to inspire women through her work. “All women should feel proud of themselves because being a woman is a blessing and a privilege.”
